A native Mississippian, Mark comes to Hattiesburg following his association with the Mississippi Gulf Coast’s largest consulting engineering design firm, where he served for five years in the capacity of Quality Control Officer and Contract Administrator. Mark has been involved with building construction since 1976 in such varied responsibilities as Contractor, Owner’s Representative, and Prime Professional.
In more recent years, Mark has served in the position of Assistant Facility Manager at Ocean Springs Hospital, a division of the Singing River Hospital System. These various posts have enabled Mark to develop a broad base of invaluable expertise in the field of construction inspection and administration, consequently likewise enabling Landry and Lewis to ensure its client greater Quality Control services and better field-related adherence to construction documents.
A 1975 graduate of Holmes Community College, Mark holds an Associate Degree in Building Construction Technology, and has been trained in several related areas of construction. He participated in a Load Calculation and Duct Design Program sponsored by Lennox Company in 1978, and earned a Hill-Rom Application and Maintenance of Patient Care Equipment Certificate in 1990. He attended the Louisiana Hospital Association School for Supervisory Training held at Louisiana State University (Baton Rouge) in 1991, and has been a Certified Home Inspector since 1996. Mark is currently an active member of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors, the American Society of Home Inspectors and the National Fire Protection Association.
