Shane Germany, AIA
Shane is the most recent addition to the LLA family, bringing a breadth of knowledge in various areas of design, construction, and contract administration. Shane has had the opportunity to work for both general contractors and specialty subcontractors on design/build projects of varying scale, in addition to his experience as a project manager and recently licensed architect. This unique insight into all sides of the contractual relationships between the Owner, Architect, and Contractor is a valuable asset for our firm and our clients.
Shane holds a Master’s of Architecture degree from the University of Southern Illinois – Carbondale, a Master’s of Science degree in Engineering Technology and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from the University of Southern Mississippi. Shane also holds an Associates of Applied Science degree in Drafting and Design Technology from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. In addition to his educational background, Shane holds a Certificate of Management – Building Information Modeling from the Association of General Contractors.
When Shane is not working on projects for LLA, he serves as an adjunct instructor for the Architectural Engineering Technology program at the University of Southern Mississippi where he is also on the Industry Advisory Council for the School of Construction. Shane is currently the Communications Chair for the American Institute of Architects Mississippi Chapter, a member of the Hattiesburg Historic Downtown Association Design Committee, and a member of the Pine Belt Young Professionals.
